A little bit about my Art and Pics

Thu Jan 3, 2008, 4:17 PM
Since a few have asked, I thought I would post a bit of background on my art.
I have been doing photography since the dark ages (black and white film developed and printed with my own darkroom)
I absolutely love the opportunities and creativity the digital pic world presents.
All the photos on the site are my own and the models are either my own or modified by me for creative purposes (not for profit/sale)
The idea for this style of art came to me because I am also a model builder. I wanted to get back into my artwork and do a fusion of photography, models and traditional hand drawn works.
I'm Still pushing myself. Experimenting with different media and learning the full Photoshop versions/filters. It's slow but I hope to keep improving.

I hope you enjoy my efforts,
Peace
Kato

Hi, I just need to ask you about the Sakura-Con. I mean, I didn't have a FTP, and mailing cost from Indonesia to aboard are killing me, is there any other way to send the contest entry? Via e-mail maybe?

Greetings!
Thanks for contacting me. I'm not sure what types of submissions would be acceptable.
What I would do is send an email to publicity@sakuracon.org and ask if there is another way to send it.
They do mention sending a zip file, which I believe could be attached to an email. You would just need to look at the submission page again to be sure it is in the correct format.

Hope that helps
Cheers,
Kato

Thanks. I'll e-mail them now. It's only that I've looked at the page and their option of sending submission is only via FTP or mail, no e-mail attachments or such. But I'll ask them now. Thanks for the help. :aww:
